Overview
For projects that require several pretreatment functions working together, JIE NENG engineers integrated skid trains that combine multi-media or softening vessel banks with chemical dosing pumps and interconnecting piping into a single coordinated pretreatment stage.
This approach reduces the number of separately piped equipment items on site and allows the dosing, filtration and monitoring points to be commissioned as one system rather than several independent units.
Integrated pretreatment trains are specified when raw water quality requires more than one treatment step — such as coagulant dosing combined with multi-media filtration — before water proceeds to RO, UF or EDI stages.
